Old Jul 2nd, 2003, 06:00 PM        Bush challenge to Iraq attackers: "Bring them on."
http://www.msnbc.com/news/933766.asp?0cv=CA01

Quote:
Saying U.S. troops were capable of responding to ambush attacks in Iraq, President Bush maintained Wednesday such violence would not undercut his resolve to keep Americans there until stability was restored. “My answer is: Bring them on,” he said of the hit-and-run attackers. “We have the force necessary to deal with the situation.”

SPEAKING AT an impromptu news conference at the White House, Bush indicated that the attacks against U.S. forces policing Iraq would not influence his decision on how long to keep troops in place.

“Anybody who wants to harm American troops will be found and brought to justice,” he said. “There are some who feel like if they attack us, we may decide to leave prematurely. They don’t understand what they’re talking about if that’s the case.”

Increasing attacks have killed more than 23 U.S. personnel and wounded dozens more since Bush declared major combat over on May 1. On Tuesday, assailants traveling in a vehicle in central Baghdad fired a rocket-propelled grenade at a U.S. military vehicle, wounding three soldiers. Another grenade slammed into a U.S. truck on a road south of Baghdad, injuring three soldiers, one of whom died at a field hospital overnight.
Apparently, US troop equal cannon fodder to Bush.

"Bring 'em on, you Eye-rackis, we got plenty of people we can sacrifice to make us look tougher!"

Bush reminds me of Vinth more every day. First the inability to put a sentence together, now the squinty eyed tough guy talk from a desk jockey who knows zippo about combat,

"Bring them on"

Yeah, that's really easy for you to say while sitting behind all of your security guards in your nice big house, Mr. President. Let's see you get your ass on the fucking battlefield and then say "Bring them on". What an asshole.

Shhh..... the prez is sleeping. Don't disturb the poor man while he's napping at his ranch in Crawford, Texas. For christ's sake, give the man a break! He's only had nine weeks of vacation this year!
