I was away from the message boards during all the fucking "Snakes on a Plane" bullshit but I saw the movie and I just got it for my 20th. I was one of those that enjoyed it but I think it was overhyped. This is not a B-movie and the only reason it will be considered a cult is because of the name and the hype. I see it as another mediocre high-concept horror movie like "Final Destination" and "Saw."
But I'm flogging a dead horse. I hope I didn't miss much as far as the fucking snakes on the message board, too. I'd imagine it would get old pretty fucking quick.

It's not a matter of flogging a dead horse it's a matter of dragging the horses corpse hundreds of miles into the desert in the middle of summer and expecting people to drive hundred of miles out of their way to pay to see it and advertising it as a petting zoo.

Should I stop wondering why I'm called a n00b at every game/message board I join? I fucking moderated Continuum and I was still called a n00b.

Name-dropping only works when you use well-known names.

I watched 28 days later last night for the first time and enjoyed it (I'm not a fan of scary type movies).

OK yes I apologize for calling SoaP a "high concept horror movie." I only called it that because it was a horror movie not involving Freddie, Jason or Leatherface, and it was not a stupid teen slasher flick. But speaking of high concepts, it will never hold a candle to and should not be matched in the same forum with 28 Days Later, which still remains my favorite.

It wasn't Dark Shadows, that's for sure.
