MOVIE FORUM!!

Yeah, yeah, except here's my question. This is a very political story if it sticks even slightly to the comic book it's adapted from. The comic was a reaction to the Thatcher administration, but if anything it's issues are more thorny today than they were then.

For those of you not familiar, the protagonist of the story (it would be pushing it to call him the hero) is a terrorist, and the British government he's fighting is facist.

Do you think there will be any sort of political holler? Will R's latch onto it as an easy target, hollywood siding with terrorists, encouraging terrorism? Will Dems try to outflank the R's on the right by denouncing it first? (My bet is Hillary could go for that, it's just bout her speed as an issue)

Or will it be ignored?

Or is it a serious issue? Is it irresponsible of Hollywood to relaese a movie where the 'hero'
