Old Apr 28th, 2003, 12:16 PM        The Second Angel by Philip Kerr
I just finished Philip Kerr's The Second Angel which I thought was technologically accurate and thought provoking as well as a pretty good thriller. I enjoyed it but from the numerous web-reviews I've read, however, this isn't even his best work. It kind of reminds me of H.G. Wells Time Machine except that it's set in the future. Has anyone else read any of his other novels and, if so, which do you think best defines his work and/or IS his best novel? I'm looking forward to reading another in the future but right now I'm under the strict orders of a required reading list and do not wish to be punished. I appreciate your input.

Summary Of The Second Angel
