Damn, nice cover art for the Box and 5 disc's. Extras sound good. Can't wait to buy it this Oct.

No, no, that's the 1st 8 movies in the series. The 1st 4 disc's hold 2 movies each. 5th disc is for extras.

Paramount got rid of the franchise after the 8th movie. New Line picked it up and made the last 2 in the series (not including FVJ)

I wouldn't buy it. Paramount initially said this boxset would have all of the movies uncut and letterboxed including all the shit they had to cut to show them theatrically in the US. Regardless to say the only cuts of these films in this box are the exact ones you'll fine on the discs out now and the special disc has only a few cut scenes from some of the movies. In short, this is the most disappointing release of the year.

And while Paramount is bitching about how they couldn't find the footage, I have it on good authority that Paramount throws nothing away, they're just too lazy to dig up all the cut footage and deal with the hoopla of putting it on a disc. And the commentaries are limited to only a few movies.

In short, copy those discs. Not fucking worth it, and I'm sad I have to say that.
