I just saw funny people. I enjoyed it alot. Had some dramatic parts, but they weren't too overwhelming.

Went to see G.I. Joe last night. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I think it will lead to a pretty good sequel.

They're supposed to be making a new Heavy Metal movie too. As long as its nothing like H.M. 2000 and more like the original/magazine I'll be alright with it.

Just saw District 9, and WOW. This film is awesome. I think it's easily the best so far this year.

Great story, great characters, and it deals with pretty strong stuff at times. The CG was spot on, and it makes me wonder how blockbusters on a bigger budget can make absolute shit while this turns out spectacular graphics that never made me think "hm, looks fake".

Oh, also very few 'shakey camera' moments, and those were mainly limited to actual news camera style scenes.

The action scenes were real rollercoaster rides, in that I thought things were going to end badly, then go well for the good guys, then go horribly wrong etc, and they were really very cool and exciting.

Can't wait to get it on DVD and see it again. Loved it.

Wizards is pretty old and worn out. It would be more of a nostalgia thing, but I'm not saying don't give it a try.

I was lucky enough to go to an advance screening of "Inglorious Bastards". I won the tickets and wasn't extpecting more than a fun romp but was amazed at the outcome. I saw it with about 8 friends and the reaction was expectantly mixed. From a granddaughter of a holocaust survivor and a die hard Terantino fan. The reaction was surprising to say the least. I was amazed by how Quentin had matured as a filmmaker, and I encourage everyone to avoid the reviews and see this striking film and judge for oneself. Glad to see the ol' boy can still make a movie that people will no doubt discuss....

Finally got around to watching that latest Hulk move with Ed Nortan and Tim Roth. That movie was WAY better than I was expecting.

Castle of Cagliostro yes! I must have seen it about fifty years ago, but I still remember how awesome it was to my young eyes.

The bit where he runs down the castle roof and jumps is hilarious.

I liked it too but that last line in the movie always threw me off.

Just got back from Ponyo. Aside from fucking not anything happening aside from the tsunami and the ULTIMATE TEST at the end being completely retarded, it was a pretty good movie. Basically nothing but eye candy for anyone over 7 or 8, but I think it's worth seeing. Take your kids!

I fucking lol'd at the EXTREME ACTION SHOT of Sasuke running through the tunnel.

Yes, I am watching a lot of Miyazaki.
