Christ, three people in this thread like Legends? What gods conspired to bring all three of that game's fans to the same forum?

This, Fallout 3, and Diablo III are the 3 games I'm pumped for! 33333

Also Megaman 3 was my favorite.

Too bad Wiiware sucks. I hate downloadable content. Fuck it.

It's also coming to Xbox Live Arcade, and the Playstation Network. Oh shit, what now, WiiWare.

Legends wasn't that bad. I dug it, but the controls haven't aged well. If they made a new one with a better controller setup, I'd be pretty happy. I could do without the silly story, but Mega Man isn't a game you play for killer plot or anything :P

I'm pretty happy MM9 is coming to the other networks too. At least then more people get to play it. I'd have liked Wiiware to have an exclusive game worth mentioning outside of LostWinds and such, but the franchise is too big to keep to just one network. It's a good business move.

Capcom yanked MM9 from the listings of XBLA and PSN claiming the listing was a mistake.

Man, some of those kotaku comments are idiotic

"Aaaaand there goes my chances of buying this. Sorry capcom but i'm not in the business of paying full price for games that could have been released a decade and a half ago..."

You fucking kids realize that NES games were like $80 when they came out, right? And this is going to be what, 10 bucks, tops? And that microsoft and sony charge the same price for downloads, they just make it look smaller by having their point system not equal whole dollars?

WHEN I WAS YOUR AGE...

Hey, working the lemonade stand only gets you so many quarters. $15 is a lot of lemonade, and cul-de-sacs only get so much foot traffic

I always get a smug sense of satisfaction when I buy a used game for <$10 and think that at some point, someone, somewhere, paid a day's salary for it.

I've heard tell that the Lost Planet engine was made specifically to fit into a Mega Man Legends game, and that it's only a matter of getting Capcom to approve it.

That'd be pretty boss. The last I heard of Legends was a Cell Phone game. Japanland loves them some cell phone games I guess.

vets of the series will be missing a few standard moves. Gone will be even the simplest of the Blue Bomber's abilities, like sliding, or charging your Mega Buster for a powerful shot
The fuck?

I can live without charging the buster gun, but sliding will be missed. Not sure why they took either away; it's not like they made the game complicated.
