I've only seen the early 90's version that they broadcast in the U.S. I've heard they had a newer series in the early 2000's. Any good? Believe it to be big in the U.K.

I remember them having some nice powers...except that they couldn't shoot bad guys with guns. I always thought that was a load of crap, but besides that it was good.
