Sounds like a religion based on selfishness. The compassion and empathy I feel towards other human beings fall more under The Golden Rule which, I think, inherent in people and has nothing to do with religion.

Another question. Doesn't the term "satanism" imply God and, if so, why would one choose "evil" over "good"? From what I've read which you provided, satanism doesn't really involve much of either entity. Why use the term "satanism" at all when it's more of an epicurial, pagan thing?

The way I always thought of satanism, was it was less about satan himself, and more about satan the Concept. See, satan, or lucifer, was a person who defied God, and wanted all the power for himself. This is reflected in Satanism, as there is no worship of another, o nly worship of the self.
So it's not so much worshipping satan, it's being satan(the concept)..

The vampire thing i sjust silly, they act like all they say is abig secret, but all the rituals and "Techniques" that are in there is what any stupid person would do trying to steal energy from a person.
