How Do I Get My Band Grade?

1. Daily Participation 10 points, 150 every 6 weeks

2. Tests 100 points per test

3. Homework Papers 180 points every 6 weeks

4. Performances 100 per performance

5. Band book, folder, music 60 points every 6 weeks

Extra Credit

5 points per week if you come in during Home Base.

1 point per program you bring in that had music, including church programs.

15 points if you perform in a group or at church singing or playing your instrument.

20 if you play the national anthem at a Junior High home game.

30 if you participate in solo and ensemble contest.

10 if you are in the P.J.H. S. Choir or Jazz Ensemble.

5 if you come in on Thursday's for Help Session.

Deductions10 per weekend if your horn does not go home.

10 per weekend if you do not return your practice slip.

10 if you do not have your methods book.

10 if you forgot your instrument.

10 if you do not have black pants for a performance.
