I shook a publisher's hand once. Does that count?

The dialogue is quite good in spite of it having to be so exposition-y. But the kicker is in the discriptions. Detailed and entertaining; like Hemmingway had a boring-ectomy.
It's great to see your work again, Mr. Burbank!

Hey, Max, Have you considered going the ebook/self-publishing route? J.A. Konrath has a lot of good information on the subject: http://jakonrath.blogspot.com/2011/0...t-succeed.html (this is just a single link -- you really should read a lot of his blogs on the topic)

Honestly, it really depends on why you're writing. If you're writing to get published, to see your book on a shelf, then that's fine -- go the traditional route. If you're writing to be read, then maybe the ebook route is the way to go.

This isn't a simple statement on my part. I've been debating it for quite some time now, and still haven't made my final decision on the matter. But knowing that the ebook market is there relieves some of the pressure.
