Conker remake - 6/22

Would love to have a new Conker game but this will have to do. Looking forward to Wed. Rare might actually make me happy for the first time in quite a while.

yeah, the multiplayer in the 64 version was not that great and I'm guessing the same here. Conker is about the single player but I'm anxious to see how the multiplayer is.

Conker's Bad Fur Day for the 64 was Awesome although my 64 broke and I got a gamecube

Conker is a highly underappreciated game. I don't think the XBOX game is going to be about multiplayer. Sure, it might be fun for a little while but it's a remake of the 64 game and Conker is all about the single player experience.

I had so much fun with the multiplayer games in conker's bfd. I know I'm gonna play it a lot on xbox.

You guys are insane. The multiplayer wasn't anything that great. It's fun and all but even with the improved XBOX multiplayer stuff I still think Conker is all about the single player game. Great platforming action and some good humor. The multiplayer will keep me happy for a little bit after I play through the 1player again a few times but with all the awesome multiplayer games out there I doubt Conker's will keep me satisfied for too long.

I'm picking it up after work today so I'll be playing through it tonight.

Seriously, it just felt like the same crap over and over again. I couldn't play anymore past the lava-ish stage. I watched a friend beat it, though, and the ending was a huge gyp. And the multiplayer was kind of tacked on, but felt like it had more SOUL. Like 'here's the game we really wanted to make, but we had to spend 90% of our development time on a Mario 64 copycat because otherwise no-one will distribute this.'

Overall, I think Mario 64 was a way better game in the same genre (and shut up, it's more than a fair comparison) because of its not-entirely-linear gameplay. And it controlled better. And it was fun. :<

well I can't argue there. Mario 64 is one of my all-time favs.

Conker had alot of variety to the gameplay though. Sure, the progression was linear but the gameplay was not.

I thought it was a awesome game and did all things very well. It was also pretty much the only N64 game that had some balls.

The spoofs were cool and I enjoyed the furry guy's humor.

Yeah, I was looking forward to the original no matter how fucking sickenly cute it was. BFD was good, but it just didn't seem as polished as Twelve Tales looked when it was in production.

I heard someone found a Twelve Tales prototype. Just a rumor but it would be neat to see how the game was before the BFD overchange.

Only have played single player so far but got it last night. Think most of the voice acting is taken from the 64 game. Woulda been nice if that was redone. The quality doesn't fit at times

I remember the quality of the voices wasn't too great. Really fuzzy. I know I'm not going to spend any money on the game, but that's why I still keep Immortal Goat around. He loves the orignal conker and will buy this one, too.

I believe the N64 game's voice acting was recorded as mp3 for space and the quality was somewhat weak. Seems like they used the same exact voice work in the remake.
