It's been a while since we've had a new Visionary Darkness rant up on the site, let alone new material from Protoclown. Luckily, both things have been taken care of all at once. Proto's latest rant is all about the asinine concept of "freedom fries" that I'm sure you've all heard about by now.

What is so bad about the French?

Look at all the Anti-War support in America! But when the French do it, we have to get all pissy.

Anybody who would say "Freedom" or "Liberty" instead of French is a FUCKING ASSHOLE.

I heard that the war is called "Operation Iraqi Freedom" - that can't be official? Can it?

Oh, also today there was a protest rally on campus, so I couldn't get to my lectures. I guess the moral is "Oppose the War - Stay in Bed" or similar.

Living in non-France Europe and all, I hadn't heard anything about freedom fries before I read the piece. I was kinda confused at first, and went into a state of denial when I understood what you were talking about. I just can't believe people can be that dumb.
