Cybernetico is probably a spambot
Old Feb 19th, 2003, 03:41 PM        How much could these go for?
If you didn't read in the toy thread in suggestions. I have billions of old toys. From old wrestling stuff, GI-Joe, Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, even Police Academy stuff. I just don't know how much I can sell it for. I'm sure I could make lotsa cash from this stuff.

Any advice?

Well, you could take them to Ebay as loose figures...but if they're missing pieces don't expect much. As for those Police Academy figures, burn them....they deserve a short trip to hell.

Your best bet is to sell them in small groups on ebay. If you marketed them correctly, you could make more money. However, doing that requires a lot of work. If you have, for instance, 10 different lots for sale, you might have to deal with 10 different customers simultaneously. It can be very time consuming and sometimes a pain the ass. From that aspect it would be easier to sell everything at once.
If you're looking to sell every item in one lot, I guess it would depend on the items as to gague a fair starting price.
Do you have a picture of your toys? That'd help.

How old are you?

Because if you're a teenager, you're in that sticky middle ground between playing with toys, and collecting them. Teenagers are normally too busy trying to lose their virginity to think about collecting toys, but once you get into your twenties the nostalgia gene kicks in and I can bet there would be some toys you wish you hadn't sold.

The only Ninja Turtles worth money are the first series still on the card and the "shogun" series. Everything else is pretty cheap.
