What song from the 80's do you like? What song do you hate? The song you like doesn't need to be your favorite. Just something you liked to hear come on the radio. If you would rather name bands than songs, go for it.

Like = One Night in Bangkok
Hate = Everybody Wang Chung (or whatever it's called)

Ever since Rockstar Games managed to make "I Ran" a cool song in their trailer for Vice City, I can believe that there's no '80s song that cannot be made somewhat cool with a neat montage.

there's tons of good music from the 80's IMHO... there's a great mix of music that is actually good (be it influential or just well written pop, and then there are the songs that just crack me up when I hear them)... I'll start off with:
like: "Cars" - Gary Newman
hate: (sorry sketch) One Night in Bangkok

Bennett: No sweat. I also like "Cars" a lot. Which reminded me of 'The Cars'. And from them I would say I liked "Hello Again".

Hate: 'We Built this City' That got severly overplayed on my local stations.

I'm not a very big fan of music from the 80s, save for Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, The Stray Cats, and The Cure. SRV and The Cure are 2 of my top 3 favorite bands ever (the other is Lynyrd Skynyrd).

I posted previously and stated that I'm not a big fan of 80s music. Well, here lately I've been downloading a pretty good bit of it (in relation to the previous amounts I've downloaded). I forgot to mention The Cars last time I posted. I really like them.

I've downloaded most of the original Ghostbusters soundtrack. I'm totally digging that for some reason.

I'll back 'We Built This City.' God, the more I hear that song the more I wish the masters were burned.
