As tempting as it may sound, i'd suggest you to try and avoid slicing it open on your own. it would only induce bacterial infection and yuo could put yourself into a much worse situation, like amputating you leg or something.

it looks like a cyst to me, though. i've had one before right on my chest. it was considered as third nipple. it was cool when they squirted it out.

I had the same thing on my elbow for a while last year, a little bump that bruised for a while. I thought it was a vein until I pressed on it and it was hard (and hurt a bit). It worried me for a while, then I forgot about it and when I suddenly remembered and looked for it, it was gone. Oh well.

Does it hurt you at all? Is it sore/tender/painful in any way? What does it feel like if you squeeze it a little? Is it less than 5 mm?
How come you bruise so easily, anyway?

looks like somebody hasn't had enough milk to drink. calcium intake is the only way to stop from bruising.

Not that calcium wouldn't help but I think that some people are just naturally prone to bruising no matter what their intake.

I thought vitamin C and E were important in preventing bruising. Maybe Re should take vitamin supplements.

I don't know quite how or why, but it's my understanding that some people that bruise easily are anemic.

I've been to the doctor for something along those lines myself (easy bruising), and after he took some blood and got back to me, he told me that I had very low levels of iron in my blood, that I was anemic and that it contributes to how easily I bruise.

Something to think about, I suppose... try eating more iron.

you know what, you're right, it is the vitamin c and e that would help prevent from bruising, calcium intake would help make it more effective. but then if she was taking in too much of calcium it would result in developing cyst so it probably isn't a cyst on the back of her kneww, it's gotta be something else. oh well, looks like she's fucked. haha.

what the fuck happened in here
I don't have any deficiencies, I know why I bruise easily, there is nothing to do about it
we were supposed to be talking about my mysterious lump

anyway, it doesn't appear to be life threatening so I don't much care anymore. Just waiting to see if it goes away eventually. There is no doctor in the house

Oh... lumps...

umm, maybe a zit?

You'd have to tell us more about the lump (yummy).

Like... is it like cauliflowery or smooth, does it hurt to the touch, etc etc etc.
