I've been waiting for a godamned year for this movie to come out and its going to be cut in half, but at least it wont be edited to crap. How long after volume one untill volume two?

And to the guy who said it looks like another Charlies Angels, you're a moron.

Just got back from the movie and... go see it. The trailers just don't do it any justice whatsoever. That's all I'm gonna say for now.

Holy god, that movie kicked my ass. And I was just as unimpressed by the trailers as Mock was.

SEE IT

Haha exactly. The trailers just can't portray the movie properly. Doesn't matter though, word will spread quickly and plenty of people will go see it anyway.

Wow. I just saw it. It was fucking incredible. I mean, seriously, ridiculously good. I am DEFINITELY seeing this again on the big screen. I had high expectations and it surpassed them all. I'm going to reserve final judgement until I've seen the whole thing, but I think this has a VERY good chance of being my newfound favorite Tarantino movie.

It was clear to me though (and disappointing) that a large number of the audience didn't "get" it. A lot of people seemed bothered and confused when they bleeped out the Bride's name. We're not meant to know it at this point in the story. In fact, it may never be clearly revealed. But for those of us who know it or have figured it out (and it's easy enough to find on the net), certain lines of dialogue might take on a different sort of meaning ("Trix are for kids").

Also a lot of people thought the showers of blood that erupted forth every time a katana sliced through somebody were hilarious. And many other people were mocking how "fake" it was. Obviously these people have never seen a single samurai movie in their stupid little lives, because those blood geysers were wonderfully true to the genre. The choice to have the epic fight in the restaurant in black-and-white was brilliant, it felt just like an oldschool samurai movie.

Immediately after the conclusion of the O-Ren Ishii fight, these two guys up in the front of the theater walked out in a huff and when they got to the back door to leave the theater they yelled out "This movie is BULLSHIT!" I was utterly shocked that anyone could react that way to the movie. Obviously they were idiots who have absolutely NO idea of the types of films this paid brilliant homage to.

I fucking love this movie. Absolutely brilliant.

Yes, it was amazing. I rather enjoyed near the beginning. "Coffee?"

Anywhom, when the movie started going full swing, my jaw just dropped. I couldn't believe how great it all was, and it had such a "cult" feel. You must all see it. There wasn't a second of the movie that didn't hold my full attention.

Alot of the people in the theatre were laughing at things that were NOT supposed to be funny, as proto said. The blood was a throwback to ninja and samurai films, as well as most anime, but then again, all of his movies are inspired by such, just this film made it 300% more obvious.

It's sad however, this won't do good until word spreads. This WILL NOT be an instant-hit blockbuster, ESPECIALLY because it's October, so it's going against several horror flicks, in the Halloween season. There was maybe 5 people to see Kill Bill, whereas "House of the Dead" was sold out. This will reach cult-status, above all.

I recommend it. Highly.

"The blood was a throwback to ninja and samurai films, as well as most anime, but then again, all of his movies are inspired by such, just this film made it 300% more obvious. "

And that is exactly what IS funny about the film. Everything in it is reference to something else, so if you see the reference, you may find it to be hilarious. I found the film very, very funny, and if you're going to be a hard-ass about what is and isn't funny about a film then obviously you guys didn't 'get it.'

Oh yeaaaaaaaaaaah!!! Im a fucking cracksmoking jewbag, After I got out of the 4:30 show yesterday I went back to the 10pm showing of it. It was just too badass of a film.

My jaw was dropped about the length of the film. To me it was like watching a Live action Anime dark comedy. From the western style credit intro to the flipped around story telling style, I give this movie a rating of 10 BONERS for Uma Thurman and her fabulous Yellow jumpsuit stained with blood...........and I'm here to fuck.

BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Everyone in the audiance was either laughing to tears or cringing at the gritty scenes this movie had to offer.

This is definately weighing between my favorite Tarantino film with Resivoir Dogs.

Now I'm going to be a consumer whore and go buy the soundtrack which I hope has that 70's 80's tune they played when THE BRIDE was breakdancing, chopping off ankles in the teahouse.

Anyone know that song? Simply hillarious.

Best song was when Lucy Liu and her gang were walking down the hallway. I was dying during that scene. I need a screenshot of her and her gang in the hallway for a desktop wallpaper.

Lucy Liu gives me a giant boner.

I think that her presence will cancel out any visible dicks in this movie, chopped off or not.
