I have a feeling the sounds and music are gonna be the most amazing part of this game. In fact I almost want the xbox version more just because it will be on my home stereo.

But I plan on getting it for pc anyways, along with a decent upgrade.

ive been playin this a bit now, its pretty intense. at least the first level. it runs ok on my 2.1gig athlon xp and ati 8500 at the lowest graphic settings, but it still looks good. the lighting effects and sounds really are amazing.

i really need to get a new graphics card though

Isn't Doom 3 the fourth Doom game? I think there was a Doom 64 too.
Also My computer is a Pentium 2 but I Sure can play a lot of New shit on this old piece of crap.

Final Doom was really just a collection of new levels. It was more like an expansion pack than a totally new game.

PS. Your computer won't run Doom 3.
