Has anyone heard anything good or bad about this game? Will anyone be picking it up today? Or does it come out tomorrow?

I'm sorta afraid it'll turn out like Lost Odyssey.

It seems quite a bit different than Lost Odyssey; reviews are mostly positive (A from 1up.com, 7.1 from IGN). I'm debating whether to get it or Mercs 2, but I'm leaning toward it. I'm just glad the RPG drought the 360 suffered through during the early days is over. Now one of them needs to rise above "meh" status.

I actually liked LO, so I wouldnīt mind. What I donīt like about IU is the characterdesign...all characters look...strange somehow.

LO is a decent game, it's just the same stuff we've seen before.

Well, since the age of innovation will never come back...there wonīt be anything original ever again. Especially not with JRPGs, they have always been more or less the same. I think we just have to be thankful for non-crap-games in this day and age

I find myself in this same delima. If you end up getting IU let me know what you think.

Ill be picking this up tonight. I will let you know how it plays.

I would say pick up Spectral Force 3. It has a decent battle system that resembles Vanguard Bandits from PSone. The storey line .. well doesnt really have one other then your a Mecenary Army that helps any nation on this continent become the supreme power. You have to collect materials to create all your armor and upgrade your weapons. Not going to have alot of replay value. I suggest picking it up used.

I looked at Spectral Force 3 the other day. Do you get to pick and choose what nations you work for or does the story pretty much choose for you?

You pick and choose what nation you want to do jobs for and can shape the nation by doing so. Your first 3 missions are based out of 1 nation but after that its all you.

I played Infinite Undiscoverythe battle system is active, think Drakenguard, you can go where ever you please once you get out of the first zone. You cant really control the actions of your party member but you can connect to them and some what control thier actions but that is about it. While your connected to certain party members the NPC will react differently and might gove you items or better clues, there is one character that is a beastmaster and when your connected to him you can talk to animals. The graphics are amazing as i would expect from SE. All and all its a nice game and worth the pick up.
