Bike tests in the UK are even more so than the car ones. The driving test being one of the most notoriously difficult in the world. People on average these days only pass after the third attempt and I almost failed for not washing the wind shield because a bit of dirt was detrimental to health and safety despite the fact I could see where I was going!
But running a 125 is far cheaper, £15 per year road tax, car tax is about four times that (other brits correct me if I'm wrong?) and insurance third party and theft for a year I've been quoted £96, which is dirt cheap.
I can't afford to run a car in this country.
