Everyones propably seen this already, but I just saw it for the first time. The narrator raving about death and destruction made me laugh.

The Donald Duck Cartoon in the first post is available on DVD, I am pretty sure.

Disney and Warner have actually released quite a bit of their "banned" cartoons. The Spotlight Collections of the Looney Tunes has at least a few of the wartime cartoons (I think Bugs Bunny NIPS THE NIPS might even be on there, If I'm thinking of the right cartoon). disney released their "On the Front Lines" limited edition DVD, which had all their propoganda cartoons, unsensored like crazy dude. Also they released a lot of old Mickey Mouse cartoons where he wears black face and shit. You gotta put up with Leonard Malton or Whoopi Goldberg making frownie faces at the camera getting serious about racism before the actual cartoons though

I remember having an episode of looney toons on VHS, where Daffy was tormenting these two nazi characters and at the end of the episode Daffy hits Hitler in the head with a hammer.

That's the one! Wasn't there like this tall vulture looking officer and a stupid shorter minion? If I remember it right, Daffy was gunned to Berlin by a cannon where he was hiding. :/

EDIT:

I found a link to that cartoon:

The misuse of the word "banned" is one of the things I hate the most about the internet. Nothing you've ever seen on youtube has ever been banned. Corporations may choose to issue or withold any material they want, and if a cartoon or commercial isn't widely available it doesn't mean it's been banned by anybody. Except if you live in the Vatican and the pope doesn't like a commercial about a fat chick farting in the tub or something. Then he might ban it, I guess. Or if the clip is Chinese or Korean. And like Jixby pointed out, Disney has released every single propaganda cartoon on DVD with awesome quality and Maltin-vision.

I'm actually gonna write my master's thesis on these things next year.

I wish there would be a site with war time comics

For example those Donal Duck strips made by Al Taliaferro, I'd really want to see the comics that weren't published in the Al Taliaferro's comic books :/
