I'm in about the same boat as you Banks.

Any chance it is Dubya's doing. Maybe he is influencing things so his friends in the oil companies can get richer?

P.S. Lately, I have been watching Dallas.

haha, anychance he's not pulling strings to fatten the already fat corporate slime?
what i don't understand is why corporate scum that already bilk us for billions in taxes and shady profits still need more. why, why why? how much is enough? seems there's no such thing as too much for these folks.. especially when many may be planning to cut and run sometime soon. if the pentagon is right.. there will be no place to run though.

bush helped lower prices on suv's with our taxes paying the bill, then smiles crookedly when gas prices go up. hmm, payback, dependance AND Mass distraction. the bastard

Because it is not enough. Competition demands more and more of the profit to be put into investment. You can't just rest on your laurlels, you have to stay in the game.

A litre of Petrol here is about US75c, and a Litre is about gallons

A litre is about a quarter of a gallon. If you pay 75 cents a litre, that means your price is about equal with the highest price in the USA.
