I CONSIDERED MAJORING IN ASTROPHYSICS BUT THEN I DIDN'T AND IN RETROSPECT I SHOULD HAVE (IT'S MORE INTENRETSTING THAN EINGIENREERING )
You'll get paid more working in Engineering. This is assuming you will be sub-par in your work as your postcount here is too high for you to have done all the studying you need.

Oh, I don't know, If you're really good you could get a Post-Doctoral fellowship at Geneva or at ASU and look for planets around other stars. You might be the one to discover Earth II.

I've loved cosmology and astronomy my whole life and Neil deGrasse Tyson is my hero and I watched him speak for about three hours in January and I didn't want him to stop . Also I shook his hand :swoon
But engineering does pay more and although looking at hundreds of scanning electron microscopy pictures searching for microstructural anomalies is fucking fascinating I'd rather be looking through a telescope into SPACE
So far as space goes I think the real money's in Astrology. Become a new-age guru and people will pay you to sit about talking absolute bollocks. It'd basically be exactly like your life now but without a forum being involved.

What is sad is this is true. There are plenty of suckers out there just waiting for you to take their money in exchange for fancy future tellin'

Good advice to someone that isn't convinced they'll be sub-par at everything they'll ever do. Those that are really good get the fun stuff, those that are not so good have to type it up.
Some of you really need to learn what a comma splice is and why it's a good idea to avoid them.
Considering it has been endemic on the forums for years, perhaps you only just learned about the issue in writing class, in which case, you can blow it out your blowhole, Sugar.

So someone finally mentioning it is invalid because they didn't do it when the problem first started showing up?
It seems to be happening more frequently now, and it bugs me.
