When I was in fifth grade, our computers had Pac-In-Time and we all played that game. We FINALLY beat it, and the ending was Pac-Man and 'CONGRATULATIONS!!!', which was pretty shitty.

Also, the Dark ending in Sonic Adventure 2 is lame compared to the Hero ending.

sonic adventure, the ending when you get all the emblems, because THERE ISNT ONE, no 'well' done' or anything, absolutly nothing happens (

cant think of any more, as sonic adventure has made me remember how angry i was...

Despite the fact it's one of the greatest games ever Zelda: Windwaker had the shittiest end. Basically they just sailed away and waved. Total bullshit.

I kinda liked that one. It made me wonder what would happen next.

As far as games with shitty endings, I haven't played too many, but BOY was I pissed when I saw the "to be continued" screen at the end of Soul Reaver 1. I wanted to keep going!

there is a cool alternative ending for soul reaver 1, which ends the story there and then.

i dont think i've ever played a game that had a satisfactory ending.

except maybe for starfox 64.
that actually felt like an ending that you were playing as well.

So originally it was Kain who was supposed to go inside Raziel's reaver in order for him to save the world? That would have been a monsterously defeating ending, not that what they gave it can even begin to be called an ending. I could have even gone along with an Ariel and Raziel marraige sequence after that.

Most NES endings are shitty, but I guess that was kind of the point.

How I miss the days where the game was the reason you played through and not the ending.

Anyone watch the ending for Clock Tower 3? The transformed a (suposed) horror game into a girl-turns-woman story!

And I have hear many people complain about the Killer 7 ending, but I think it's bacause is a WTF?-Kind of ending (I personally think it's easier to learn open-hart sugery than finding something rational about the whole game).

The endings need more of a, "Good boy, here's a piece of lint. Go away," kind of feeling. But when it comes to sucky endings, you all nailed it.

ocarina of time has a relly bad ending i mean come on you travel trough time to sav hyrule and zelda STILL wont give you any action.
