Well, where I come from you can either vote for the MFP led by Max Rockatansky (currently in power, although not for too much longer) or the Armalite motorcycle gang – led by the barbaric "Toecutter".

Then there are the minor parties; Labor (not Labour, because they wanted to new and progressive, like the USA, rather than old and traditional, like the UK) Liberal (Like the Republicans) the Democrats, Socialist Alliance (which is a culmination of various bickering parties for the purpose of elections) and the Greens.

Actually, the Democrats might be defunct now, I can't remember.

Anyway, only the Greens are an acceptable alternative to the Socialists.

I only had a single teacher in my primary education who pointed this out so I guess if people don't read on their own or don't take classes in university that cover these things, they can't even know what form of government they live under.
