And here is a little tid-bit: girls only make the first move if they are pathetically desperate. At least not in the traditional sense. If you are on a speaking baisis they would make "the move" in descrete hints during conversations like mentioning her interest in your thoughts about her, or asking about your relationship with other girls. But you really have no hope at anything if you don't even speak to her.

I think I can say with certainty that she was interested in me.

When a girl practically begs you to dance with her all the time, she's interested in you.

When a girl gets excited because you are her escort for some stupid dance thing, and tells her friend that "He's all mine," she's interested in you.

When a girl sits there and says that you're hot, she's interested in you.

And after a whole year, without any contact, her friends tell you that she has liked you ever since she met you (but was avoiding contact largely because it would make her boyfriend jealous, and she didn't know about how I felt), she's interested in you.

I sit back, and think about what the possibilities could have been if only I had the courage to act. And now that the table's have turned, I'm beginning to understand how frustrated she must have been when I avoided her.

All I can say is that I was an idiot, a complete fool who lost his chance because he still had leftover feelings for a girl which had never been attracted to him. And I simply refuse to believe that I missed the opportunity.

Move on. Start talking to girls who you know haven't been in many (if any) relationships. Then your chances of them also being nervous about it are higher. People who have already been in a relationship will expect more from you.

Once you've gained expierience (by then the girl your talking about will be begging for you) you can move on to pretty girls and show off your huge penis.
