The Dark Crystal

I just found out the name of this film after tying to remember it for years. It absolutly scared the shit out of me when i was young... heck just seeing pictures of it now sends a cold shiver down my spine...





God knows how what they where thinking making this a kids film. And shame on my parents for making me watch it several times.

There's also prequels in a cartoon miniseries and Manga form in the works. Manga might already be out; I haven't kept up.

Yea, The Dark Crystal was one of my favorite movies growing up. Don't know what I would think of it if I saw it now though. I did watch the Labrynth again about a year ago and still thought it was pretty cool.

saw dark crystal for the first time last year, was quite impressed, the lack of a character from 'the real world' a la labyrinth or neverending story was good.

shit those bird things scared the shit outta me. Those monsters in Labrynth that can throw their body parts around still haunt my dreams, but David bowe always saved me. then I woke up and on my stomach was a copy of labrynth the sountrack!!!!
