That title sounds familiar, but I don't want to google it and then have the song stuck in my head for weeks.

I just saw Joe Kidd on TV, and while the story was bad, poorly explained with hardly any back story, and half the characters were just thrown in to fill space... Clint still made it a good watch.

Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer

I expected it to be some crappy horrorcomedy with redneck humor, but it turned out to be a pretty decent homage to 80's horror. I really liked the fact that there was no CGI used at any point in the film. Thats propably one of the reasons there was a subtle Evil Dead vibe througout the movie.

The plot was somewhat original, the main character was likeable and acting was suprisingly good for a low-budget horrorflick. Robert Englund pretty much stole the show, though.

Worth a watch.

i just watched rec 2 and i didn't watched number one completly but there are 2 things that pissed me off, one is the zombies are not actual zombies but they are possesed and somehow the possesion passes through bites so they get a priest to purge them and the second one is

the girl from the first one survives and is now possesed but is a special case cause she dosen't looks zombefied or demonified

Dear John the movie was a pretty standard chickflick with pretty standard plot elements.

the past four nights:
ip man 2 - donnie yen is a badass. nothing more needs to be said.
drunken tai chi - donnie yen was a badass in the 80's as well (more of a badass, actually, because it was before he had eyelid surgery and fixed his teeth), but the movie was just too goofy outside of the fight scenes.
once upon a time in china/once upon a time in china 2 - great fight scenes, but they were too few&farbetween. however, the subs were white and a lot of the scenes were light, so it was kind of hard to follow some scenes.
