Sorry Jamesman, but who hasn't seen Se7en? I thought most people who would have wanted to watch it would have caught it by now.

Also, Planes, Trains and Automobiles had a nice, warm, fuzzy ending.

Gen: I'm pretty sure it was Charlie Sheen, and it also had Henry Rollins and Anthony Keidis in it.

TCM, just the way it justs abruptly ends, and of course the scene with him running with the chainsaw with the sunset background.

ninja you are thinking of the The Chase, and yes it is charlie sheen, it is the scene where they finally stop him and the girl and it is just before he gets out of the car, he imagines pulling his hand out in the shape or a gun and getting shot by like 20 cops.

The Empire Strikes Back
The Omen II
Pulp Fiction
The Loved One
MPTHG(original ending)
Life of Brian
I Worship His Shadow

Beg to differ

While the ending of CK rounds the film off nicely, it's a (deliberately) unsatisfactory explanation of Kane's persona. It does however give us a lot to go on on a second (and third, fourth...) viewing, letting us slowly but surely approach the character from multiple angles without ever getting up close. The entire narration fucking rocks.

We may be talking about the same thing, though. I'm not sure whether you're saying "the twist at the end was cool" or "the ending reflects back on the entire story, adding another aspect to it".

Yeah, but when you ask most people about Citizen Kane, most of them will say "Rosebud was a sled. He had a sled." That or the scene with him in front of the giant poster of his face.

Yeah, but most people don't watch classics, and few watch them more than once. CK ages like wine, and it improves with each viewing.
