I think Leela is the most irritating character in sitcom history. If I have to hear her say "hi-ya" while karate kicking someone one more time I'm going to scream, or at the very least get mildly annoyed.

I don't see any problem with the show coming back. I don't see how seeing more good episodes is a problem and I don't care about bad episodes "tainting" the series, and I don't see how a show with so much potential in it's universe and characters, with a super sci-fi nerd like David Cohen as executive producer could turn terrible after, what, three years away? I just hope the inevitable meta Fox jokes that dog the Simpsons will be kept to a minimum.

The sappiness of season four was justified considering they had to so abruptly end all of the story arcs, but I thought crap like The Sting and the dog episode were great ideas that were just executed poorly. There are plenty of sappy Simpsons episodes from the first seven seasons that are some of my favourite episodes.

yeah i agree with the karate noises but i thought the sting had to be one of the best episodes

anyone watch the commentaries for futurama? some of them are quite funny (seeing as the topic has gone from chef to south park to family guy to simspons to futurama)

I dunno what it is, but I really like both of those shows. Both are funny, but not hilarious or anything. I don't get it :O

space wasps

they found it hard to justify why wasps made honey (as the wasps killed the last crew in the first episode, but in the end they diddnt bother

My favorite one was The Lost City of Atlanta. I don't remember too much from it, except this one part when I laughed four times in quick succession and I've never done that for any other show.

I liked some of the end episodes the best, as sappy and dramatic as they were. Adult Swim seems to air the Wong Ranch one a lot, but I never see the one where the monkey goes to college anymore.

Do they really show it in order? Because I see the Wong Ranch one at least twice a month, it seems like.

So anyway, the latest episode of South Park was so bad, it pretty much voided the other episodes in the season.

It's like making fun of Family Guy put some sort of curse on the show.

Here's my point scale:

Not having Stan, Kyle, Kenny or Cartman: -2 points
Having an episode about a current event nobody gives a shit about: -2 points
Being followed by Carlos Mencia: -2 points
Having Towlie in an episode: -25 points
Oprah's Vagina having a Cockney accent: +5 points
Having the entire episode revolve around vagina shots of an animated Oprah: -5 points
Naming Geraldo Rivera the "Greatest Investigative Reporter of our time": +3 points
Giving Gerlado a lisp: +3 points

Total: -25

My idea:

Trey and Matt did too much with the last two episodes, and they just couldn't come up with anything this week. If that's the case, then let's just hope that one week of shit was enough for them to get back on track.

Here's hoping.

By the way, do you think the irony was lost on them that after criticizing Family Guy for being random, they do an episode about Oprah's vagina taking hostages?
