Where the hell did you acquire all of that?

Also: That Earthbound box, is that genuine? I've never seen one that didn't come with the strategy guide.
22 years of gaming and money :P

Yeah the Earthbound box I have is a display only model box (original is big) that I got from a store that was willing to part with it after the display was over. Even though I don't necessarily care about Earthbound, it's a nice piece.

I think he meant that he's just accumulated most of it throughout the years. It's like most of you guys are doing now, only he's actually been collecting for as long as he's been gaming.

Well, I mean, I couldn't even find Chrono Trigger or FF3 when they were new. And even then they ran close to 100 dollars.

My buddy has FF3 with the box and manual, as well as the original shrink wrap around it. Pretty nifty, he's about to let me borrow it so I can do a quick run through.

so you're going to open the shrink wrap then? or does he just like open the little flaps on it and then when he puts it back in the box wraps it up again?

Never mind about that, how about getting a sofa that doesn't look like an outdoor-sofa?

Back home, my father was using my computer and decided to lean back and stretch. He is not a small man, and it was not a strong chair. One of the chair's five legs snapped off at the base. You could still sit on it perfectly fine, as long as the broken leg was facing forward and you didn't lean too much. The broken leg left a long, pointy shard that I often scraped the back of my leg on.

I kept the chair for 2 years after that until my mom made me replace it.

A year later and my wall is pretty close to the same. I'm getting prepared for a new job and a move so about 1/3rd of my stuff is packed up.

I took a small video of my current setup with my camera to bump this thread back into action a bit.

I'm too lazy to reformat it right now so you'll have to deal with the .mov

My MMORPG will be available by the end of the year or so

A parallel world to Dragon Quest/Warrior III.

Warrior, Mage, Cleric, Fighter, Thief are the primary classes and are finished. It will have a similar class setup as 3 as well where you can eventually somewhat dual class. The beginning island when you play the original game is where the game starts. Most of the starting island is completed. Aliahan, Reeve, Promontry Cave, Najimi Tower, Meadow, Travelers Gate, etc.

Eventually additional classes like Hero, Sage, Dealer and Goof-off will make the mix but those aren't planned out and won't be in for beta release.

I also have some other gaming projects in the works but those be a secret right now

Here's another video. Closer look at a couple things. Conversion quality is pretty bad unfortunately.

Yeah, that will be an interesting class to plan out and balance

Beyond Oasis is awesome. Did you see Haunting complete there too? A little nod there.

I tend to play Pirates! and Starflight the most out of my genesis games.

Yeah, I saw that. I nodded approvingly. I wish Polterguy would make a comeback. That's easily one of my favorite Genesis era games.

I still remember the first time I beat it. My mom was putting up the Christmas tree like three feet away, and I really wanted to help, but I was tossing ecto-bombs at that Chihuahua-turned-monster. Ah, memories.

I may post pictures later, but here's how mine is:

In my living room, I have a 50' TV with my PS3 and Wii set up on it. I have additional video outputs for other things, which I'll list below.

In my bedroom, I have a 32' TV with a Gamecube and a PS2 set up on it. Again, I have the other video slots left open.

Why do I leave my video slots open? Because I still have all my classic crap, too. I still own an SNES, a Genesis and an N64. My old school NES gave up the ghost, so I bought a Retro Duo from Play N Trade. As far as the games themselves, hoo boy... over 100 for NES, approaching 100 for SNES, about 50 each for Genesis and N64, a bookshelf full of PS2/Gamecube/NDS/PSP, about 30 Wii and 50 PS3...

I'm not nerdy or anything, really .

I am, unfortunately, a collector who loves video games. When I re-entered collector mode, I bought up an asston of older games for pretty much every system I own, and I recently made myself stop in an attempt to actually play some of these things before I buy more. Between working full time, being married and raising a kid, it should only take me until I'm 40 to finish most of 'em.
