I'm downloading some ROM hacks, and the site I'm downloading from right now has a disclaimer that says that if I don't vote for the site twice before downloading each ROM, the files will be corrupt. This is bullshit, right? I don't have the opportunity to test this at this computer.

EDIT: Jesus Christ, I just found a Ghosts 'n' Goblins hardtype. I can't even finish the original on an emulator.

I'm pretty sure it's bullshit with roms, but i've known for that to happen to warez, though i have my doubts that the warez even worked in the first place.

They say you have to vote for 2, but if you don't they usually change the link at the top. :/ It's pretty easy to figure it out though.

i know the site your talking about. It bullshit. i downloaded gunstar heros and it works fine. i also downloaded some other roms and they all work fine too.

Although anything is possible i suppose, it could be possible that they guy swaps links to bogus roms if you dont vote.. That would be actually kinda easy- just a simple redirect based off a cookie-

it's been ages since I've played most of those games, so I can barely remember what any of them are about. It doesn't help that most of the titles are about as descriptive as dirt.
