Old Mar 17th, 2004, 11:52 AM        FUN NEW WEBSITE THWARTS REVISIONIST HISTORY!
The Bush administration would really, really like it if people would forget a lot of the things they said leading up to the Iraq war. After all, we know Saddam was a bad guy, w'ere all glad he's gone, so what is they're to talk about? As W himself said when sked about the whole pesky WMD question "What's the difference?"

Americans (myself included) are famous for their short ttention span and weak memory. That's one of the great things about the internet. It functions wondetfully as an external memory bank.

Check out this site. It's an extensive compiling of statements made by the Administration prior to and shortly after the gbegining of the Iraq war. And it's got a handy searchable database! I just did a search for use of the word 'doubt' to find out how many things W's gang said there was 'no doubt' about. I like it becuase 'no doubt' isn't the same as 'some doubt' or 'plenty o' doubt'.
