Yeah, Taxi Driver was a great Vietnam War movie. So was About A Boy, by the way. And The Hot Chick.

I thought Casualties of War was one of the best war movies, just because it tells a different story... and it's extremely sad.

The best one about Vietnam is undoubtably Full Metal Jacket.

Platoon is my favorite 'Nam movie. I liked Apocolypse Now too, but it wasn't really much of a war movie.

Apocalypse Now, motherfuckers.

FMJ is great, right up until the bit where they actual GO to Vietnam. Hamburger Hill is actually quite funny (well, I thought it was). And let's not forget Good Morning Vietnam!

But yes, Forrest Gump is still the obvious choice.

Full Metal Jacket is my favourite, but Apocalypse Now is probably the 'best.' Deer Hunter is also very good. Platoon sucks though.
