I-Mockery At E3 2010 - The Electronics Entertainment Expo!

Samurais mean business. Serious business.

Alright, maybe not too serious, but still... pretty serious.

No geeky gaming event would be complete without at least one Lord of the Rings display.

Yep, we can check that one off the list.

I'm guessing he was upset that he didn't make it into the new Twisted Metal game as a new character.

My buddy Nathan Barnatt (aka: Keith Apicary) took a spill down the stairs.

Walk it off Keith...

Life-sized models promoting Halo Reach.

Life-sized models promoting... nobody really knows (or cares) what.

Awww... does somebody have a tummy ache?

For the record, LEGO Harry Potter interests me far more than real Harry Potter.

SEGA!

Konami!

And this is how they get people to join the armed forces.

The girl on the left didn't want anybody taking photos of her, yet insisted people play the game she was promoting.
Somebody clearly didn't understand what her job at E3 entitled. Moron.

E3... a perfect place to park your RV.

I had no idea a new Battle Chess was in the works.
It was pretty amusing, but still, the deaths in the original game were far better.

Yep, they had plenty o' glee.

Beating up opponents and then autographing posters... a badass Luchador's work is never done.

Another random shot of the floor including EA and the Microsoft Kinect area.

Square Enix always has a huge area to promote their latest games.

Our good friend, Mr. Destructoid strikes a pose. Glad you guys moved out to the West Coast!

He only looks nervous because Dig Dug is nowhere in sight.

Bean bag chairs of the future!

Women of the future!

Only at E3 can you find pizza that is referred to as a "performance snack".
The only performance I make after eating a pizza, is passing out on the couch in a trance-like state of greasy, cheesy joy.

There's still much more to see from
I-Mockery's coverage of E3 2010!

OMG, I want one of those stuffed chicks on the last page *bounces* And holy cow, do I remember the Pac-Man cereal *and* eating Pac-Man Pasta as a kid. And mmm, Umbrella Corp. mints. I'll have to find some of those.

Now that I'm done looking at the little details, thanks for the coverage, guys! Can't say as there were too many games I'm interested in myself but it never hurts to know what's out there. And yeah, I had a "Holy crap Battle Chess?!" moment seeing that pic, too. What system was that for? (And boo on poor deaths. That's what made that game!)

Most intrigued by FotNS, mostly because I'm a DW fangirl. Might check it out but it doesn't get me bouncy like the other Koei titles do when I hear they're being released.

Looks like you guys had a blast, though and thanks much for the article!

Serious question now. How much does it cost to get into E3 or is it still invite only? Glad you both had a good time, did you get a go on kinect? I do hope the tiger thing has a "rip your face off when you piss it off" option

I'm ecstatic about that new Twisted Metal game. Hell yeah! And I'm glad that Hokuto no Ken game is finally getting a US release. It's about time.

I'm still hoping there'll be time for Gene of God Hand to appear in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, though... I've kept my fingers crossed for so long, I think they're frozen that way by now.

of all the things at E3, sadly enough this year the big thing was the partnership between ESPN and Microsoft. I don't even like sports, but that's HUGE and a big kick to the dick to Sony/Nintendo. Oh and I tested out the Twisted Metal, fun, but WAY To Complicated to complete a task that could easily be done in 2 steps. I Really have no clue how I missed you at E3 wearing that hat.

There actually was a Fist of the North Star game on the Master System of all things, released here under the label Black Belt. It was remade under the 95% shovelware Sega Ages line on the PS2 and was given a Master System sequel as well. The IP is definitely overdue for a new entry, though, I agree.

I was working at a shelter during the day they showed E3 coverage (on my birthday, no less), but luckily I had set my DVR to record it. The footage from E3 was the best birthday gift ever. I'm looking forward to all these games.

The one I'm looking forward to most, though, is Heroes on the Move. Jak, Ratchet and Sly were my best friend's three favorite characters and he wanted a game that combined them; however, he died in an accident three years ago, so he didn't get to see his dream come true.

I bought the Gundemonium Collection. It's pretty good and decently tough.

I would've never expected to see a state-of-the-art controller made for this generation of videogames being a succesor to the damned Power Glove.
