Tropical The nes turned yellow probablly because the white colour was bleached on. And it oxidises over the years restoring the original colour.

That's why pages of an old book turns yellow. It's the bleach wearing out.

When I worked at K-mart, they had a fucking bass that sang "take me to the water/put me in the river."

It had a motion sensor, so everytime someone walked by I had to hear it.

K-mart was Hell. I'm so glad the one in my town went out of business.

And I have a copy "So You Want to be a Wizard". I read it as a kid, it was pretty good.

I also have a Casio keyboard that I actually made the attempt to learn to play a few years ago....I was making progess until the cocksucking thing broke.

King Hadas That was pretty funny Ramco, how would you like to write a Minimock for the I-mockery website? If your interested than PM me something you've written and I'll put it up on the site.

Ramco I think the reason NESes turn yellow is from the anger and frustration anyone who plays the horrific game "Yo Noid!" and eventually goes so crazy that they urinate on their NES to spite that stupid Noid. At least, that's how my NES turned yellow.

satanito Does anyone remember some toy line from the late 70 - early 80, conformed of a scorpion, a black spider and a purple fly? they were filled with small weapons. The fly had suction cups on the legs(almost sure it was called "superfly"), the black spider had a blue or purple hatch in the back an inside were some soldiers. My memory is fuzzy about it(25 years change a lot your memories). I am looking for them, but i dont know who manufactured them or the names of the toys. if anyone knows (yes i am talking to you ROG), please let me know. they were the BEST toys ever created.

EverythingWillSuck The old SNES models were made of some cheap-ass plastic that would cause the covering to turn into a urin-y color as the years passed by. So, it's not too surprising to see SNES's like those (except mine! )

There was a three-family sale last weekend. Not anything, really, but when they had the free box out I took a 'country classics' cassete tape out.

I dunno, maybe I'll record over it.

Skulhedface My NES for the most part didn't turn yellow but the door to close the cartridge port did.

Just the opposite on my SNES... everything BUT the cartridge port turned yellow on it.

I was thinking it WAS smoke stains because I'm a relatively heavy smoker, but by the time I WAS a heavy smoker, I no longer had an NES or SNES.

Good ol' Casio keyboards — the ultimate sign of a parent's failed attempt to get their kids interested in playing music.

Guitar Woman A NES won't turn yellow, but a SNES will. Only on certain parts, though.
This will require further investigation! :o

Helm Ah the good ol' 3D games from yesteryear... do you remember how impressive games such as "The 7th Guest" and "Myst" were when they first came out? We had never seen games like those on a computer before. Nowadays, we probably couldn't stand to play them for more than five seconds. Still, there was a much better game to be found...

neither Myst nor 7th Guest were actually 3d games. The still images in them were prerendered in 3d applications, but that's not the same thing. BEHOLD THE POWER OF THE NITPICK

Emu Possibly. My friend's SNES only turned yellow on the top, and the bottom turned really dark grey.

NEW MINIMOCK: "50-FAMILY YARD SALE OF DOOM!"

Last year you saw us venture through a so-called 45-family yard sale. This year, we found one that claimed to have a whopping 50 families selling off their crap. These are the things that weekends are made for...
