i saw this movie bootlegged, we thought it was great because we knew what was funny cuz the people in the theater on the bootleg would laugh and we would be like "this is just like a hilarious sitcom!" overall this movie seemed really good! when i saw the preview i was like oh man mclovin is so gonna get busted but it went from the punch into a hilarious plot i didnt see the end but now i might just go pay to see it |

Superbad has a basic plot. But out of all the horrible high school party movies it succeeded at being hilarious because teens AND adults could relate. The humor was raunchy but executed in a smart way. Enough to make you give a genuinely laugh every few minutes. I know you find Kevin Smith movies funny because hearing the word "dick" every five seconds gives you a warm feeling inside. But some people actually enjoy a good story. I thought it was an absolutely hilarious film, but I bet it'll turn into the next Napoleon Dynamite and everyone will ruin it by quoting it to death. Don't get me wrong, I'll still love it even after ten billion people start using the net handle 'maclovin' but it's annoying that jerks always ruin good films by repeatedly shouting the best bits in your face. |
