i remember one time renting the game and someone had made it past that level. that was the first time i got to experience the rest of the game, which in comparison to the first 4 levels blows. :/
recently i haven't honestly had any trouble in games, but i have spent a few days on some of the bosses in viewtiful joe 1 & 2
