Let's say there's a post by someone asking what this strange lump on their foot is and they have pictures. Let's say I respond to that picture with
KILL IT WITH FIRE
or something equally lame. A mod sees it and then the post is stamped with
(USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)
and then my avatar is changed to a kitten in a jail cell and my title says I can't post for X hours.
I'm not saying we have to do
exactly that but probations for stupidity is something I'd like to see.
