Did you ALLOW the sex to take over the friendship? That might have been the fatal flaw. I've been in the situation myself, fortunately, although after it stops and the first little bit of time is awkward, I and the girl can resume the friendship where it was beforehand (except with the added benefit of remembering what she looks like nekkid).

Seriously? Hope for the best, but expect the worst. It could go one of several ways:

-The two of you "get it out of your system", so to speak, and end up back at Square One.

-Maybe out of the blue (it could happen... we will NEVER understand women, no matter how hard we try) she'll suddenly see something in you and agree to date you. But this is an extreme hit-or-miss situation... make sure you know what you're getting yourself into.

-It will suddenly become awkward and completely break up the friendship.

On second thought... maybe you fell in love through lust... i.e., because she was your friend before and now your friend plus booty, you're falling for her while she sees it as a simple release. Can't help you there, as that kind of situation is doomed from the start... but you can still HOPE, right?

The best advice I can give is for you to say "No, wait, before you start riding the bone tonight, I want to talk to you." Let us know how it goes.
