If Jesus had a girlfriend, or took part in carnal, sinful, worldly pleasures of any kind, he wouldn't be perfect enough to absorb the worlds sins through his death. Of course one could argue that this logic makes no sense... but I think you can see where I'm going with this.
And why is it that hard to believe that he never had a girlfriend or was ever married? I would imagine that someone claiming to be completely and singularly appointed by the Creator to save humanity from sin would be able to back that kind of claim up with some dedication.
