Mach speed and attack an enemy while the box is on screen. If there are no enemies, use a shocking pink bomb and atack with with Mach Speed like if it was an enemy, and it'll create a copy of you that will attack the box in the background. Also, to break them faster, buy the Mach Speed upgrades at the Power-Up shop.
