Actually to me she sounds like she doesn't really know what love is about. Or maybe she was not talking about love, just a superficial BF / GF relationship - in which case I could understand why she wouldn't want what can be considered as merely a "fucking partner" to have as close a bond with her a brother or a friend would.
I'd say she was telling you you're too good to be a boyfriend.
But what do I know, I'm only a woman after all. Blah.
