Bah, I say. Most of the special moves were either too narrow in regards to their strike zones, or took too long to execute.
As for other kickass moves, most of the time, you'll need the power of a special move to kill the enemy before he crushes you.
And don't even get me started on the overadundant grunting/yelling.
