I don't know the validity of this in real life, but art use to make me feel like i was good at something, like i had something of my own. However when i started taking classes in high school I realized talent in art and talent in drawing are 2 very different things. People were churning out drawings that were not only well drawn but artisticly beautiful. I feel like shit because for about 10 years I had art as my thing as something
I was really good at. But now it was more like i was ok at it. Art has become the polar extremes of my existance, making me love myself and hate myself. I wouldn't be able to live without having the ability to draw well, but also can't live with it.
