Actually Sspad, I'd say that's a political misconception. Yes, the Republicans are HEAVILY financed by big corporate money, but so are the Democrats. When it comes down to it, at least recently, the Republican Party has been better at grass roots style financing. A lot of this stems from the late 80s presidential bid of Pat Robertson, me thinks. With that race he built his network and database for the Christian Coalition. Southern, moral conservatives are monseters at letter campaigns, telephone calls, and giving what money they can provide.....
