The only reason people are going back to those video games is because they're easy to put on cell phones and while being fun are strong with the nostagia factor. I can't honestly see them usurping the current video games in any palpable ways.
Especially when people learn you can give Nintendo the finger and just play the fucking ROM for nothing.
