That IS what it is. When has it been anything different? Every six months it's some new "Most powerful guy in the universe" that they whine about never being able to beat in a million years unless they go off and "train" in the hundreds of thousands of desolate desert regions in FUCKING JAPAN
And then a fucking city gets blown up when some muscular bald guy grunts and shoots lazers out of his mouth or something and after they die Goku says something abominably stupid and accidentally breaks some silverware because he's "too strong for his own good" and defies all possible laws of physiology ever because the show SUCKS
