My cat's been declawed, and yet he frequently shows up with dead birds, and even the occassional dead rabbit, and he walks around just fine, so don't let yourself be fooled into thinking that declawing a cat is like breaking a horse's legs.
Then again, maybe he's just an exceptionally resilient feline.
