blue: remove yourself from this earth immediately. you don't "belt" cats. the closest i come to hitting my kitties is to tap them on the nose when they are doing something bad. a loud hissing noise or clap usually sends them flying...and there's always the option of spraying them with a water bottle or gun. they hate that.
